Gary Hay

Chief Pilot

Gary Hay joins DB Aviation with over 30 years and 17,000+ hours of experience in aviation and aviation management, as well as 8 years in manufacturing management in the auto industry.

Mr. Hay began his pilot career with multiple Part 91 corporate organizations in Milwaukee, Wi. before joining Skyway Airlines and ultimately, Midwest Airlines for the past 18 years where he held a variety of roles in Flight Operations and Flight Standards & Training. During his tenure with Skyway and Midwest he was responsible for pilot hiring, scheduling, line operations, training and checking, and Check Pilot management. In his spare time, Mr. Hay is the Air Boss and member of the management team currently involved with producing the Vectren Dayton Air Show. Mr. Hay is one of only a handful of civilians to ride in a Fleet assigned, Navy F-18D.

Mr. Hay pilots the Lear 40/45 Jets in the DB Aviation charter fleet.
